If you bet on team A which is offered 0 and -0.5 handicap, if they lose, you will definitely lose both bets because they both didn’t meet up with the handicap applied.In case the match ends in a draw, the first (0) half of your fund will be given back while you lose the other (-0.5) half but if team A should win, both bets are won as the handicap was covered.
