Edgar Davids to Crystal Palace?
Edgar Davids to Crystal Palace?

Rumours have emerged this afternoon that Edgar Davids could be set for a sensational return to professional football with Championship side Crystal Palace.
Davids hasn’t played since leaving Ajax in the summer of 2008 after his second stint with the Dutch club. Since leaving he has been on our TV screens mostly as a pundit - most notably as part of the British terrestrial coverage of the World Cup this summer.
The 37-year-old didn’t announce any sort of retirement when he left Ajax in 2008 and could be back in the professional game in London with the Eagles. He has previously played in England with Tottenham for two seasons, but also lists AC Milan and Juventus as previous clubs. It would be a huge transfer coup for Crystal Palace and one of their most illustrious signings since Attilio Lombardo. Davids is set to give his decision to the London club in the next few days.
Does anyone think this could really go through?
