Walter Finally Joins FC Porto
The transfer saga between FC Porto and Internacional to purchase Walter Henrique da Silva reached a conclusion on Wednesday. FC Porto paid €6m for 75% of the player’s rights with the player signing a 5 year contract protected by a €30m release fee clause. Walter has been chased by several European clubs including Manchester United since he shined in the 2009 South American Youth Championship where he scored 5 goals.
