Are we living in 201Özil? Here “The Gentleman Mesut looks back on his career in the year 2050 and states that it wrote the future.”
This is one of the most bizarre videos I have ever seen. And I don’t even understand German. Supposedly this is portraying Mesut Özil looking back on his glory days in the year 2050, when the 21-year-old winger would be 61 years old. This has the feel of some strange flashback in a Wes Anderson movie, except it is somewhat eerie. I do, however, like the random background music of the Kings of Convenience (“Misread”). But besides that I don’t even know how to process this, what do you make of this madness?
