Brazilian Striker Keirrison Completes ‘Dream Move’ to Barcelona

Twenty-year-old Palmeiras striker Keirrison has signed for the Blaugrana on a five-year deal.

Keirrison completed his dream move to the Camp Nou, “I always followed Barcelona and the Brazilian players who played here. Now at 20-years old, I am very happy to be here, fulfilling my dream of playing at the best club in the world.

The prodigy stated, “This club are the best in the world, and I am very lucky to be here so young. I have time to show my talents and win titles.”

The Brazillian is hopes to break into the first team and play an important role in the Barcelona season although Pep Guardiola may look to loan him out so that he can find his feet in European football. At the moment Roma look the most likely to take the young Keirrison on loan this season. Surely the Brazilian won’t mind playing along the likes of Francisco Totti and De Rossi for a year. Serie A would be an easier transition for Keirrison to become accustomed to European football, as the style of play is slower and closer to Brazil’s.
