United to seal Guillermo Varela move
Manchester United are set to seal a contract for Uruguayan starlet Guillermo Varela, his club Penarol have revealed.
The 20-year-old midfielder spent time on trial at Old Trafford at the end of last term, and he will now materialise a permanent move for a reported £1million fee, after impressing the Red Devils' coaching staff.
"In San Pablo airport waiting for the connection to London, with Guille [Varela] about to board," Penarol club treasurer Rodolfo Catino stated, via Twitter.
Catino is, therefore, travelling to England to complete the deal on their behalf.
