Every morning most of us buy a newspaper to see what is going on in the world. If you’d bought one this morning looking for news about who’ll replace Sven at Manchester City, then you’ll of been one very confused person.
We’ll start with a red top and the Daily Mirror. They say that Thaksin Shinawatra wants Jose Mourinho as manager. Excellent news for those of us that miss the Special One in the English game; however it is not a dead cert.

The Times aren’t sure so are hedging their bets, putting Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard alongside Scolari on the short-list. To wrap it up, The Times’ fellow Wapping newspaper The Sun says that the players are up in arms and are set to revolt against the decision.
So does that make anything clearer? Several names from several newspapers and we are none the wiser. One of them in probably right and will claim they are when all is said and done when the reality is with the way this guy works – no-one has a clue.
