Manchester United wantaway striker Wayne Rooney has not travelled with the rest of the squad for a pre-season friendly in Sweden.
The Red Devils confirmed earlier on Monday that they had turned down an offer of around £30m from Chelsea for the 27-year-old's services and he was expected to face AIK in Stockholm, on Tuesday.
However, according to United's Twitter account, Rooney was left behind due to a shoulder injury.
"@WayneRooney misses out on the final #mutour match due to a shoulder injury sustained at the weekend. David Moyes: "It's not too serious," read the post.
The England international has been widely linked with an exit from Old Trafford since handing in a transfer request, which was rejected by the club, back in May.
