Euro 2012: Wales help Montenegro with win over Swi
Wales have beaten Switzerland (2-0) and left the last position on Euro 2012 qualifier Group G.
The two biggest Welsh stars at the moment, Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale, were the scorers, with the second goal coming after a penalty kick. The result was built in the second half and confirms the progressing form of the Welsh side, who have picked up a creditable 6 points in the qualifier with one match to go.
Wales had no chances to qualify as the fate in Group G was decided earlier today, with England and Montenegro sharing celebrations in Podgorica.
However, the Welsh did play an important part in the group as the win over Switzerland has made possible that Montenegro could secure the second post only with a draw.
