Blue Knights confirm 'best and final' bid to take
The Blue Knights consortium have submitted a final bid to take over Rangers before Wednesday's 5pm deadline.
The club's administrators Duff and Phelps had set this afternoon as the last moment for interested parties to place their bids and the consortium, which is leaded by former Gers director Paul Murray, have confirmed to have submitted its 'best and final' offer.
Blue Knights are facing the competition of a Singapore group, as well as by a US-based consortium involving Club 9 Sports.
Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy has dropped out of the race to support Paul Murray's bid, but has claimed he might jump back in to offer an alternative in case the club choose to go into liquidation.
