Here at A Football Report we like to think of ourselves as decent human beings (when not on the pitch). We are all well aware that there are far more serious issues in the world than who grabs the last spot in Champions League Qualifying, and we feel that we should give homage to a few good causes and charities that use the beautiful game as a means to change and improve the world we live in for those who are currently unable to live life to the fullest.

streetfootballworld is a social profit organisation that links relevant actors in the field of Development through Football. Established in 2002, the organisation encourages global partnerships for development in order to contribute to positive social change. Football for Hope is a movement that uses the power of the game for positive social change. It is led by FIFA, the world football governing body, and streetfootballworld.

Right To Play is an organization working with volunteers and partners to use sport and play to enhance child development in areas of disadvantage. Right to Play’s Vision is to create a healthier and safer world through the power of sport and play.

Kick It Out works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and work for positive change.

Every time you choose to buy a (RED) product or service, at no extra cost to you, the company who makes that product will give up to fifty-percent of its profit to buy and distribute antiretroviral medicine to our brothers and sisters dying of AIDS in Africa.

Football and sport have the power to inspire, to unite and to make a difference. Kick4Life uses this potential to transform the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the world.

Football Aid was created as a unique way of raising money for charity and voluntary organisations. The funds raised from the Football Aid events are distributed to diabetes research, education and management projects plus charities nominated for funding by the Clubs that take part.

Football for Good is a non-profit being developed by the founders of the Steve Nash Foundation and Athletes for Africa, that goes well beyond charity. Football for Good has two clear aims: 1) to develop world-class youth football (soccer) academies that are sustainable, community-centered social businesses in regions that have been ravaged by war and 2) to be a champion of human rights and child protection, and a committed global advocate for African players, families and their communities.
