Liverpool coach proud with Luis Suarez
Liverpool coach, Kenny Dalglish has hailed Luis Suarez after his team’s Carling Cup win over Stoke at the Britannia stadium (1-2), where the Uruguayan doubled. Dalglish has also defended Suarez regarding the several accusations of playacting.
Luis Suarez has been constantly criticised for playacting in different matches and it all started in the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool where Jack Rodwell was sent off for fouling Suarez with a red card and a punishment by the FA.
The Reds manager, Kenny Dalglish, came to Surez’ defence mentioning his great performance in the Carling Cup’s Wednesday evening match against Stoke City, where the attacker doubled and gifted his team with a 1-2 victory.
“He got kicked right at the end of the first half. He turned Jonathan Woodgate. He made contact with him, but he tried to stay on his feet to take the chance. That's where he hurt his leg. That just emphasises what we say about the wee man. He had the opportunity to stay on his feet (and did),” Dalglish stated defending Suarez who got substituted before the end of the match with a slight limp.
