Fabio Cannavaro praises Juventus' Andrea Pirlo
Former international defender, Fabio Cannavaro has hailed Juventus' Andrea Pirlo saying that he made a huge impact and plays a key part in Juventus' success this year.
Juventus former star, Fabio Cannavaro, is confident about their Serie A success, and believes the Turin giants will keep up the good performance, especially after signing outstanding midfieler Andrea Pirlo.
"The transfer of Andrea Pirlo from AC Milan to Juventus shifted the balance in Serie A. He is 32 years of age, and at that age I won the Ballon d'Or," Cannavaro told Tuttosport.
The Italian international has moved from AC Milan to Juventus at the end of May, this year, and according to the retired defender, he has contributed to the bianconeri's unbeaten record at Serie A, so far this season.
"The beginning of the season with Juventus and Italy is surprising only to those who underestimated one of the strongest players in the world throughout the last decade," he added.
On Sunday, Juventus will clash with Chievo at the Italian's league matchday 7 away game, as they sit at the top of the Serie A table, sharing the same points with Udinese.
