England crash out of U20 World Cup

England crash out of the U20 world Cup in Turkey after losing 2-0 to Eygpt after conceding twice late on.

Peter Taylor's side enjoyed huge amounts of possession and had enough chances to win the game but were stunned when Mahmoud Trezeguet curled in a delicious strike in the 79th minute and Koka added the second in injury time with England chasing the game.

Before the late second there was still time for the Three Lions to pull level but Harry Kane missed from two yards out with the goal at his mercy after his header was well saved by Awad and he fired the followup somehow wide of the upright.

Sporting Lisbon's Eric Dier went closest for England when he rattled the crossbar with a vicious free-kick with just 20 minutes left to play on another disappointing night for English football.
