Manchester United announce pre-season tour at Norway

Manchester United have announced that they will have their pre-season tour at Norway in preparation for their 2012-13 Premier League campaign.

The Red Devils will travel to Norway, for the first time in 10 years, and the club’s chief executive explained that the club wanted to gift their growing fanbase in the country.

“We have fantastic fans in Norway. The Scandinavian supporters' club is our biggest anywhere in the world with over 40,000 members,” he said to the club’s official website.

“It's great to have the chance to play in front of them again.”

Sir Alex Ferguson's men will also take on Valerenga at Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium on August 5.

The Old Trafford outfit have still one match left this term, as they will travel to Sunderland obligated to win the match, while hoping that Manchester City slip at home against QPR, in order to claim the title.
