Hoops sunk by a United Dundee (1-0)

A Football Report

A much-changed Celtic was defeated by Dundee United, who only needed a goal to get past the Hoops, while Hearts climbed up the table after beating St. Johnstone.

At Tannadice, the Scottish PL champions were no match for a brave United side, on the lead since minute 21, the moment when Scott Roberson fired an unstoppable header to celebrate the only goal in the game.

Dundee approached Motherwell by two points after their rivals in the fight for the third position couldn’t grab more than one point at Ibrox Park against Rangers.

Meanwhile, Hearts moved to fifth on the table after conquering a 2-0 home victory against St. Johnstone, now left two points behind.

Skacel and Webster, with one goal in each half, stroke for the home side’s win, leaving Hearts with 52 points.
