Saunders, a former Wales international, is probably most well known for his days at Liverpool, but at Sheffield he is a legend because of this. Saunders chased a hopeful ball down the flank with Vale keeper Paul Musselwhite. Musselwhite beat Saunders to the ball and knocked it out for a throw-in, only for Saunders to pick it up and throw it at the keeper’s back, then tucking the ball into an open net.
