The “Don’t Mention the Score” England-Germany Twitter Prediction Contest!

Well, Ghana are Uruguay are already through to the quarterfinals, but no one in England cares because Fabio Capello, Rooney, and the rest of the lads take on the Germans tomorrow! It is a match of epic proportions with, uh, quite the history.. Just don’t mention the war! Anyway, the English-German contest calls for an equally epic prediction contest! Here are the contest details! It’s really simple!

1) Tweet your predicted scoreline and goalscorers @afootballreport. So an example Tweet would be, “England to win 2-0. Rooney and Defoe to score.” The goalscorers are the tie-breaker. 2) The iTunes Gift Card goes to the person who correctly (or comes closest to) predicting the correct scoreline. If more than one person guesses the correct scoreline, then the person who guesses the correct goalscorers will collect the card.
