Chelsea are currently first in the league table but Man U are right behind with just one game left to play for. Recent results predict a Chelsea win over at Stamford Bridge against Wigan Athletic. Man U will not give up and the recent win streak they are on leads us to believe that the only way of taking home the prestigious Barclays Premier League cup is if Wigan beat all odds.

Wigan are already safe from relegation but could still finish in front of Bolton if the conjugation of results is favorable, whilst Stoke is 3 points away from Birmingham. With Ashley Cole back, Bosingwa still out, and Carvalho in doubt, Chelsea have all the other starting XI ready to give it all out on the field.

If victorious, this will be Chelsea’s first league title since 2005-06 when commanded by Portuguese manager José Mourinho, and before he came only back in 1954-55 was the Stamford Bridge club successful in the first division of English football.

A victory is therefore critical for the “Blues” and with an all-in-all good season Chelsea strive for the last few goals through main man Drogba supported by an outstanding midfield, but mainly a player that is currently in excellent form, Frank Lampard.

Anxiety grows on the players and the pressure is on them for the final round of the Premier league. If successful expect a hectic party by Stamford Bride and later in Cobham near the training camp.

This might be the last chance for players to prove their talent to Capello in order to get into the England squad for the FIFA World Cup 2010. England has, potentially, a very good chance of qualifying to the next phase with Slovenia, Algeria and USA in the group stages; it is expected of them to come first in the group seen as England are a high caliber team.

But the real question remains: Will Chelsea keep a cool head and defeat Wigan?
