“What’s Going On Here? World Cup Caption Contest!” Week Two - Win a World Cup Scarf!
“What’s Going On Here? World Cup Caption Contest!” Week Two - Win a World Cup Scarf!

Week One of the “What’s Going On Here? World Cup Caption Contest!” was a huge success. We received over 30 brilliant captions, and about 200 of you voted for the top four captions that we selected. We’re happy to announce that Christian Lugo is the winner of the first week, beating out top-class entries from Dominic V, Alyssa E, and Peter H.
You can see all of the best captions from week one here.
So it’s time for week two! The rules are the same. The person with the caption of the highest class (most creative, funny, etc…) will win a prize (courtesy of the awesome guys at SoccerPro). All of our favourite captions will be posted later in a separate post, the top four captions will be voted on by you guys, and the winner of the weekly contest will be announced in the next week’s post. Captions are due by Saturday at midnight!
The best part? Not only will the winner this week win an official World Cup scarf, all entrants will be sent a code that gives you a $5 discount on any purchase of $25 or more from SoccerPro & a $10 discount on any purchase of $100 or more. And if you use the code in your purchase, email contest@afootballreport.com your receipt from SoccerPro and you’ll be entered in a random drawing to have your purchase of a jersey (of $80 or less) reimbursed.
So why not save $5 on your country’s team jersey or $10 off a new pair of football boots? Just think of something (anything) brilliant for the picture below! Looking forward to reading all of your captions, and good luck! So… what’s going on here? Try to keep it (relatively) clean!

All captions should be emailed to contest@afootballreport.com
