It’s all about the silverware! Wait, what? There’s no massive EPL Talk trophy we can hoist up to pretend we’re Javier Zanetti? Sigh, what happens to a dream deferred?
In all honesty though, it’s always great to gain some sort of recognition for the time we put in writing and sharing our thoughts on the beautiful game with all of you. It’s even better to see AFR stacked up with the absolute best independent minds covering the game. We may not be able to oust the likes of Dirty Tackle and his millions of minions (fine, I’m one myself) from winning the award, but that’s not what’s important. What does mean a lot to me, and to the rest of here (besides Dominic, he’s all about the trophy cabinet), is that if you ever have enjoyed a piece on AFR, you’ll take a second, click the link above, and show your support.
