Newcastle United are officially coming back to the EPL
It wasn’t easy, but Newcastle United came from behind at St. James’ Park and defeated the resilient Sheffield United. Newcastle are sitting atop of the Championship table on 89 points from 41 games, still with five fixtures left in the 2009-10 campaign. While it won’t be a year for Newcastle fans to remember for any good reason, the Magpies have played football in a manner that they should be proud of. But doesn’t it feel good to reap the benefits of Premier League football once again? It’s madness up north, as tonight is being labeled the “£60m promotion party”. The only question I have is who are the pints on tonight? Mike Ashley?
