Sky Sports does pay its reporters, right? Well maybe a pay cut is in order after reporter Chris Kamara, who was at Fratton Park for the Portsmouth v. Blackburn match, showed a bit of glorious ineptitude when the guys at Sky Sport’s headquarters asked him to explain why Anthony Vanden Borre of Portsmouth was sent off in the second half (he was sent off for a second bookable offence). Instead of making something up, Chris Kamara was frozen like a deer looking at an oncoming car and took the humble path of stating that he had had no idea that someone had been sent off! Poor guy, I mean he had to sit through a 0-0 game down at Pompey already, wasn’t that a harsh enough punishment. Sorry Chris, but I think the next time we see you you’ll be reporting from an Aldershot Town-Notts County match! “Cunning edge reporting” indeed! I give the bloke some credit for at least being honest.
