Lescott refuses to train with Everton

After an abysmal 6-1 loss to Arsenal, Everton defender Joleon Lescott is reportedly isolating himself from David Moyes’ side and training by himself.
Lescott, giving Everton a written transfer request last week, is trying to force a move to Manchester City after David Moyes standing firm on his stance that his England centre-back would not be sold.
Everton has already rejected City’s offers of £15m and £19m for the 27-year-old. The Eastlands club have not yet formalised a third bid for Lescott, and David Moyes has labeled City’s method of trying to sign his star defender as “disgusting”.
The third bid by City manager Mark Hughes is rumoured to include former Everton man Richard Dunne in a part-exchange. With Lescott’s current antics, the Merseysiders are thought to be willing to sell if Man City return with a bid of more than £22m.
Lescott’s performance in the 6-1 defeat to the Gunners at Goodison Park has been heavily scrutinized as he did not look completely committed to the Toffees.
Moyes is set to leave Lescott out of the squad for Everton’s crucial Europa League match with Czech football club Sigma Olomouc tomorrow.
