Drogba scores twice to earn three points against Hull City, 2-1

Didier Drogba scored twice at Stamford Bridge to ensure a victory against Phil Brown and Hull City.
Former Reading star Stephen Hunt scored on his debut with Hull, finding the net in the 27th minute to put his side up 1-0.
Chelsea responded ten minutes later. John Obi Mikel won a free kick around 25 yards away from the Myhill’s goal. Drogba struck the set-piece with power and conviction. The ball dipped under the diving Myhill and into the lower-left-hand corner of the net.
Chelsea continued to attack after the break in search of the illusive winner. Stamford Bridge was sent into raptures in the 92nd minute when Drogba netted his second of the match, a skillfully lucky no angle chip over Myhill. When asked whether his goal was the result of a cheeky chip or a misdirected cross the 31-year-old told Sky Sports, “[The goal] was a shot. I tried to cross but I think the intention is always good.”
