Friday nights at Fulham’s Craven Cottage are normally as quiet as you can find in London. However, North and South America came together with a force of 24,235 fans, and they decided to throw a party.
The atmosphere was as friendly as you’ll find, as Colombians from Bristol to Bogotá packed into the stadium to take on the Stars & Stripes. James Rodriguez met DeAndre Yedlin, and the Colombians made sure that they weren’t leaving without a victory and a signature celebration. Our man Nathen McVittie rolled with the American Outlaws and paid homage to a pitch that has given so many American fans (and players) an opportunity to feel at home abroad.
