Bilic reveals he will quit Croatia job after Euro
Croatia boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that he will quit from his position after the European tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
The 43-year-old manager, who has taken charge of Croatia in 2006, replacing Zlatko Kranjcar after a disappointing World Cup campaign, is willing to return to club management and will, therefore leave his position this summer.
"This is my last tournament in charge of Croatia. I have always given my best and, now, I am fully focused on the Euros. Afterwards I will be the biggest Croatia fan ‒ I have been a part of the national team for my whole life," Bilic told Uefa.com.
"We showed in 2008 that we know how to play and we will be ready again. I can't say that this side are better than in 2008, but I can say that I think I am better. We went to Austria to win the Euros and we are going with the same ambitions now."
Bilic has been constantly linked with a move to Besiktas and also admitted that he would not say no to a place at either the Premier League or Bundesliga.
