In the first of a four part preview, Mirko Corli, writing from Torino, looks at Serie A’s contenders to win the title.

Fancy changing too much in the Italian and European Champions? “Nay”, that was probably Inter’s President Massimo Moratti feeling.
So, they changed the coach because of José Mourinho will join Madrid and picked up the best available for a team that already knows how to win and simply needs to keep doing it: Rafa Benitez.
Rafa will get the squad as it is, with the loss of the high-talented but little-brained Balotelli, but probably with Maicon staying. This would be the best “signing” of all for Inter. Then Giuseppe Sculli arriving from Genoa will complete the attacking side with his chameleonic football, Jonathan Biabiany and - above all - Philippe Coutinho will provide the European Champions with a touch of fresh talent.
