FC Barcelona have teamed up with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in an ambitious three-year effort to end Polio entirely.

Barça will be wearing shirts during the walk onto the field with an “End Polio: More Than A Goal” message at Saturday’s match against Manchester United. Find out more on the movement’s Facebook page and on the Gates Foundation website.

An interesting rebuttal to the criticism about Barça sacrificing UNICEF on their shirt for Qatar Foundation, but partnering up with one of the richest men in the world when your club is in debt is never a bad idea is it?
