IPAM (Instituto Poruguês de Administração de Marketing) is a Portuguese marketing firm who researched the stadium attendances in 36 European leagues. There was a a total number of 544 clubs used to find out which teams had the highest average attendance per game in the 2009/2010 season.

Top 10 European Teams Average Attendance

1. FC. Barcelona - 78, 000

2. Borussia Dormund - 77, 248

3. Real Madrid - 75, 133

4. Manchester United - 74, 864

5. Bayern Munich - 69, 000

6. Schalke 04 - 61, 327

7. Arsenal - 59, 927

8. Hamburg - 55, 240

9. Inter Milan - 55, 149

10. Benfica - 50, 033
