In Montréal, every match tells a story
It’s hardly a secret that the AFR team has a growing affection for the ever-evolving football culture emerging in Montréal. It is hard to believe that we were up in Quebec only about a month ago, when we captured the gorgeous Stade Saputo covered in snow ahead of the stadium’s opener. Well, the Quebecois club are making it easy for us to keep supporting their emergence as a unique identity in MLS and the world of football.
Since the snow melted, their team has been on fire, making videos with the admirable mantra that “behind every win is a story.” Thankfully, the Impact captured the story that unfolded in their 2-0 win over the Chicago Fire, and it’s clear to see that everyone from the Alessandro Nestas to the Ultras to the guys with the cameras had a part to play.
I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I hope there will be many other stories to emerge from this club and its city. [Posted by Eric]
