Under Friday night lights, American fans of footy will be biting their nails and consuming certain beverages to combat the anxiety caused by their Costa Rican counterparts. While much has been said about the shortcomings of the US Men’s National Team players and their coach Jurgen Klinsmann, After a loss in Honduras and with a game at Azteca on Tuesday, American soccer have been in a perennial state of nervousness. Three losses could force travel cancellations to South America next summer, but all American eyes will be eagerly awaiting a 90 minute revival.
