While Inter may have done well to grab a point with nine men against Sampdoria, the club hasn’t exactly been the most respectful. Jose Mourinho has received a three-match ban and a 40,000 euro fine for “repeatedly challenging the officials through blatant actions”, such as making a gesture like he was in handcuffs after Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba were sent off, as well as going mental when Samuel Eto'o was booked for a dive in Sampdoria’s penalty area. While Samuel and Cordoba will obviously get a one match ban, Esteban Cambiasso will get a two-match ban for trying to punch a Sampdoria on the way to the Inter dressing room at half-time. Sulley Muntari also received a two-match ban for insulting match officials before being subbed off. [Goal.com]
