No! Snow, why did you have to go and ruin a perfectly good football-filled weekend?
So if you didn’t hear already, most of the football matches in England have been called-off due to a massive slew of snow that hit a lot of Europe this past week. Not to fear, AFR has singled out two excellent matches that can save your football-viewing weekend.
1. Saturday: Birmingham City v. Manchester United. Birmingham are on a hot streak at the moment, but Manchester United are as well after embarrasing Wigan 5-0 at Old Trafford. However, United are travelling to Birmingham, a place where City faithful expect their side to take something from each and every game as shown with a classy display against Chelsea. Note: This match could still get called off. Cross your frosty fingers it doesn’t. Arsenal v. Everton can be a backup, if that doesn’t get called off as well.
2. Sunday: Juventus v. AC Milan. Beckham, ‘Dinho, Pato, and Pirlo against Del Piero, Buffon, and Diego will surely be enough to make this fixture Europe’s highest profiled of the weekend.
