Arsenal continue good run of form to beat Rangers 3-0 and win Emirates Cup

Arsenal beat Scottish side Rangers 3-0 to win the Emirates Cup. Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere scored a brace as Eduardo also got on the scoresheet.
Arsenal scored early as 17-year-old Wilshire got onto a pass from Arshavin after a great combination between the Russian and Fabregas and then Wilshere drove it into the far corner in the second minute.
Eduardo was next to score eight minutes later. Fabregas sent a long ball to Arshavin who calmly nodded it to Fran Merida. Merida then sent a brilliant pass into the penalty area for Eduardo. The Croatian settled the ball and then curled the ball into the far corner, tapping the post on its way in.
Arsenal played great possession football throughout they found their third and final goal in the 71st minute. Sanchez Watt picked out Aaron Ramsey who sent in a brilliant cross that Wilshere latched onto and struck first time into the top-left corner.
Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky came on in the 73rd minute to replace Fabregas. It was his first home appearance since January 2008.
Rangers had a few good chances in the match but they could not capitalize. Arsenal saw the game out and convincingly took the third Emirates Cup.
