Darren Bent blasts Spurs on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent posted comments relating to his potential transfer to Sunderland on his Twitter page.
Here are the Bent’s Twitter posts:
“Seriously getting p***ed off now,”
“Why can’t anything be simple? Sunderland are not the problem in the slightest,”
“Do I wanna go Hull City? NO. Do I wanna go Stoke? NO. Do I wanna go Sunderland YES, so stop f****** around, Levy.”
Bent’s transfer has seems close after the striker pulled out of Tottenham’s pre-season our of China.
Tottenham’s leading scorer last season apologized for his comments in a statement on the club’s official website, “After a long period of waiting following my withdrawal from the plane to China, I had become incredibly frustrated by the time these things take and I posted inappropriate comments on my Twitter site… I allowed my emotions to get in the way of my better judgment. I regret my actions and did not intend to offend Daniel Levy or anyone with the nature or the content of my posting.”
Sunderland are hoping to sign Bent for around £12 million. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly holding out for a higher offer from Sunderland as he attempts to regain the £16.5 million that Tottenham paid Charlton for the striker in 2007.
Harry Redknapp is looking forward to signing Real Madrid striker Klass Jan Huntelaar, which seems more conceivable as Bent nears an exit.
“If [Huntelaar] is available then again he is a player that interests me… I think if any top-class player becomes available then you have to be interested and if Darren Bent does go then maybe we will be interested.”
