Full Time- Inter Milan win the derby in Boston 2-0! So the one of the biggest derbies in Europe ends with Inter Milan proving their superiority over AC Milan. Despite Diego Milito’s two flashes of brilliance, this game really did not feel anything like a game at the San Siro. The fans were great, but the players were lackluster and the pace of the game felt just like a match in which none of the players were fit. While all fans of the game were hoping the players would find motivation in an Inter-Milan match, the players were never playing with a mid-season mentality.

90th- Obi replaces Javier Zanetti. 3 Minutes of Added Time.

88th- Attendance tonight was 42,531. Cambiasso out, Matti Destro in.

85th- Julio Cesar and Krhin is subbed off for Toldo and Stankovic.

81st- Stankovic slips a cheeky pass to Quaresma, who should have finished, but took a poor touch.

80th- Antonini takes an ill-advised strike from distance, which goes well wide of the goal.

78th- Great one-touch passing by Inter, and Quaresma has a great strike on goal after his first few touches.

77th- Materazzi, Burdisso and Quaresma come on for Lucio, Muntari, and Diego Milito.

75th- GOAL! 2-0 Inter Milan! Diego Milito’s brace may have put this game out of reach for AC Milan. Scintillating counter-attack by Inter, but Kalac probably should have done better.

75th- Flamini does justice to some great Milan passing, with a powerful strike that Julio Cesar parries over the bar.

72nd- Stankovic has a beautiful strike from 30 yards out, and a fully stretched Kalac gets finger tips on it. Corner for Inter. Ivan Cordoba is subbed on for Christian Chivu.

68th- Gattuso and Ronaldinho come off for Flamini and Oduarmadi.

66th- Pato is taken down, which results in a Ronaldinho free kick. The free kick hits the wall and glances off the near post for a corner kick.

63rd- Oguchi Onyewu is subbed off and Alessandro Nesta comes on. Oddo also comes on for Zambrotta. Zambrotta has been atrocious today. Luca Antonini comes on for Marek Jankulovski.

61st- Balotelli is shown a yellow card for getting in the way of a free kick. Thiago Motta is then subbed off for Patrick Vieira.

60th- Thiago Motta has a shot on goal from about 30 yards out, which Kalac collects with ease.

57th- The game has picked up since the beginning of the half, and Leonardo is urging his team forward. Mourinho, on the other hand, is telling his team to relax.

53rd- Balotelli uses a bit of skill to nutmeg Gattuso. Gattuso does want any of it and drags Balotelli down, which results in a free kick for Inter.

52nd- Sulley Muntari beats Gattuso, and is takes an audacious strike from a good 45 yards out, which is well off target.

50th- Maicon streaks down the right flank past Jankulovski, and wins a corner.

2nd Half Kick-off.

End of First Half- This is certainly no more than a pre-season kickabout. The game had hope to be a great match once Milito scored in the early minutes, but after that the game just slowed completely.

34th- Ronaldinho draws a foul and has a shot from 22 yards out. Balotelli blocks it, provoking a complaint from Ronaldinho to the referee. In a bizarre move, the referee first pulls out a red card for dissent, but then smiles and gives a yellow card. Ronaldinho, smiling, walks to the sidelines for a corner kic.

20th- The wave begins. La Ola in Italian.

16th- Nearly 2-0 except for two extraordinary stops in front of a crowded AC Milan goal.

10th- Huge opportunity to equalize in front of the Inter goal, but Pato failed to capitalize

4th- Goal! 1-0 Inter Milan! And Diego Milito sparks this game to life! Milito collected a wonderfully weighted 45 yard pass from Esteban Cambiasso, then swiftly cut pass Onyewu to beat Kalac on his near post. Leonardo is livid.

KICK OFF- And the match has begun, with Milan in the Red and Black kit, and Inter in their Blue and Black.

Pregame

Both teams have gone into the locker rooms for their team talks.

Ronaldinho is putting on a show with his skills. He’s just fooling around in practice, and camera flashes are abundant.

We have just settled in with the Media, alongside the likes of RAI, ESPN, Gazzetto Dello Sport, Sky Sports Italia, etc…

Fans have just been allowed to enter the stadium, and it is clear that the Milan and Inter fans have isolated themselves, probably for the better.

Neither the Milan or Inter players seemed very happy at practice yesterday, as both Italian teams have failed to win in the World Football Challenge. Both teams were beaten by Club America and Chelsea, respectively. We were at the Milan and Inter practices yesterday, check out our match preview for some exclusive coverage.
