A concert, a kit, a uniting force? - A FC Barcelona jersey review based around an esoteric experience in NYC

I have yet to see surmountable evidence that Lionel Messi is one of us. His ability to do whatever the heck he wants on the pitch can only really be rivaled by “El Diego” himself. So when our friends at SoccerPro (soccer shop) sent us a styling long sleeve FC Barcelona jersey with the “Messiah’s” name on the back, possibilities seemed endless. I’m a size medium and my brother is a large, however, the kit was a small. I didn’t think I could pull off the Samuel Eto’o supertight look, so like a gentleman I gave the kit to my girlfriend, Alyssa, who will be studying abroad with me in Barcelona next semester. I figured a Barça kit would be useful whilst traveling, so she got the Messi jersey. Naturally, the powers of little Leo ensured it was a perfect fit.

Days after giving the jersey, the collective Beard family + Alyssa took a trip to New York City to visit family friends for Thanksgiving. Little did we know that we were about to embark on a journey that would coincide with scores of Blaugrana faithful.
