As if sleeping around and shouting racist slurs weren’t bad enough for John Terry’s reputation, it appears the Indian government has been using a blurred image of Terry for anti-smoking warnings on cigarettes. It’s pretty clearly a blurred image of this photo, with some blackened lungs over JT’s frame. The images were found on Gold Flake brand cigarettes, though an employee said that the company had simply used anti-smoking warnings prepared by the Indian government.
Terry’s management team stated on Tuesday: “It’s been brought to our attention that an image of our client has been used on some cigarette packaging without our consent or knowledge. We’ve now instructed our legal team to investigate this matter.”
