Bittersweet Victory for Barcelona at the Calderón

After four years of failing to beat Atlético de Madrid at the Vicente Calderón, the last time being in 2006, Barcelona knew that this match would not be an easy one. Especially after last Saturday’s defeat at Camp Nou against Hércules, hopes were not high. Barcelona were ready for anything, and fans were ready for a big match (the Calderón boasted a full house).
