   France have bounced back from their worst run of form in 73 years with a win over Bosnia-Herzegovina in their second Euro qualifier which took place Tuesday night in Sarajevo. Les Bleus were in a dire state after losing to Belarus at the Stade de France and desperately needed some glimpse of hope having lost four consecutive matches. A defeat that was very difficult to swallow for both Laurent Blanc and the French press, calling the French players “naive, inexperience, immature, not physical enough…”. World Cup winner, Emmanuel Petit even wrote in L’Equipe:

“The team lacks initiative, character, personality and talent” 

   Although I think Petit was harsh, it is true this completely reviewed French team displayed worrying flaws on Friday suggesting the worse for their trip in Bosnia. After a strong performance against Dzeko’s teammates however, it seems the “French reconstruction” may not take as long as Blanc first anticipated.
